February sales up just slightly from January.
February month end statistics show 89 new single family listings and 35 sales, resulting in a month end inventory of 188. This was 43% drop in sales and an 437% increase in inventory from a year ago. Townhouses and bare land also saw a similar drop in sales. However, condo apartments in our area held steady with very similar numbers to last year.
Most of the province saw similar trends. However, things seem to be picking up in the past weeks.
