The Graph Stats for April show an expected sharp decline in sales. Single family sales in the Cowichan Valley were down 43% compared to the same month last year, and much of the Vancouver Island followed a similar trend. Inventory remains relatively low and despite the drop-in sales, there has been no noticeable effect on selling price. The average sale price of a single-family home in April was $569,031. The current 12 Months to Date statistics show the average sale price is $544,880, up 7% from the previous year.
